Kajukenbo WHKD Forms and Techniques by Al Dacascos
The forms are, in their very essence, the skeleton or backbone of a style, and provide the practitioner concentration, balance, strength, speed, coordination and discipline. Adding these elements to one's personal qualities, those who are weak become strong, and those who are strong get stronger. In this video, GM Al Dacascos, one of the patriarchs of the Hawaiian Martial Arts, and Professor Christian Wulf focus on two of the major forms of Kajukenbo and their applications. The 1st International Basic Form, designed with the intention to universalize the different sections of Kajukenbo: Kenpo Karate, Tum Pai, the Chuan Fa, Wun Hop Kuen and Do, uses long and short hand motions, representing the Northern and Southern styles , as well as hard and soft styles of Chinese Kung Fu. The video is completed with the second form Nun Pai from the Wun Hop Kuen Do Section, and their applications.
