Olympic Wrestling with Mehmed Kodakov
Wrestling is considered one of the oldest hand to hand combat arts of history until it developed into a Olympic sport. Most professional vale tudo and mma fighters have incorporated wrestling in their arsenal, mainly their training methods. But its not enough to have the power of a weightlifter in movement, free style Olympic wrestling has evolved tactically and strategically too, and due to its complex technique, it is better to start practicing it as young as possible specially because it requires great commitment and planned practice. Professional wrestler and trainer Meto Kodakov had the opportunity of being trained under one of the greatest legends in this sport, he was Bulgarian champion for many years and one many of international tournaments in both free style wrestling and Sambo, he also cooperates with the Olympic team of Spain. This work also counts with the assistance of D. Franscisco Barcia, trainer of the Olympic team of Spain. It is the first video of a series dedicated to this discipline that requires constant practice, both physical and mental preparation.
