Warrior Empowerment by Richard Van Donk
At the heart of Budo lies the internal transformation that training in the arts does in changing you to be a better person.
At some time in your martial arts practice you will realize and perhaps even quest personal transformation.
We study warriorship for many reasons.
That reason may vary from person to person and even change from time to time in our pursuit to be better in the arts. What is the ultimate goal for yourself? Why do you really train? Is there some greater quest you have that is unknown or beneath the surface? Or is it staring you in the face and you still cannot achieve it?
For some of us being a warrior is not an easy path (nor should it be) yet it is still at the core of our existence and pushes us to strive for some unknown or undefined goal. Perhaps it is our nature or some internal issue we personally need to heal.
Learn more about the concepts of being a warrior on this instructional and hear the thoughts of Shihan Richard Van Donk and students as he shares his vision of an Enlightened Warrior and what that means for you as a person and what we can do to create a better world.
